Emma’s holistic approach, experience and passion points are well suited to supporting individuals navigate challenges such as anxiety & stress, body & weight dissatisfaction, depression & low self-esteem, eating issues, mind-body disconnect, trauma, relationship problems & the interplay between these. Said in other ways, she is most suited to supporting you, if:

  • you have a difficult relationship with food and/or your body, where weight or eating creates some kind of suffering  

  • you have experienced some kind of trauma - whether it be single event, developmental, or inter-generational

  • you struggle to manage and/or accept your weight, perhaps even after medical interventions such as bariatric surgery  

  • you are a natural care-taker, may even do this as a profession (i.e. counsellor, nurse, psychologist) but struggle with taking care of yourself

  • you have difficulty relating to and managing your emotions, perhaps having been told “you’re too sensitive”, “you’re too emotional”

  • you have difficulty in relationships and workplaces, perhaps setting healthy limits & boundaries

  • you often feel tired, lack energy and/or joy in life

  • you feel you are not good enough

  • you feel disconnected from your body, emotions, others, life and/or the world

  • you experience self-critical thoughts and low self-esteem

  • you are wanting to better understand your symptoms and their underlying causes

  • you have been in therapy a number of times, perhaps found some benefit, but want something different and/or deeper   

  • you are interested in understanding yourself more deeply & becoming your authentic self
