Perhaps some of this feels familiar

You might be experiencing anxiety, low mood or emotional overwhelm. You may be navigating difficult relationships or strain at work, a complicated relationship with food or your body, or the effects of past experiences.

You may notice yourself repeating old patterns, finding it hard to express your needs, or feeling disconnected from yourself and others. Sometimes there isn't a particular problem at all — you may simply wish to understand yourself more deeply.

You don't need to know exactly what brings you to therapy before getting in touch — together we can figure that out.

For practitioners

A place to bring your work

Working with others can be deeply rewarding and just as demanding — sitting with uncertainty, with complexity, and with what the work stirs in us.

You might be carrying someone's story home with you, or working at the edge of what your training prepared you for. You may be newly qualified and still finding your footing, or experienced and noticing something in the work you'd like to understand more fully.

Supervision offers time to reflect on your practice, your responses and the person you are within your professional role.

How I work

Beyond the presenting problem

Our difficulties rarely exist in isolation. Our experiences are shaped by our relationships, histories, bodies, environments and the ways we've learned to respond to life's challenges. Sometimes the strategies that once helped us cope become patterns that no longer serve us.

I'm interested in understanding these connections rather than approaching difficulties as isolated symptoms. This understanding can help us make sense of where we are and consider what might need to change.

A little about my background

My work has taken me across remote communities, specialist services, clinical leadership roles and private practice in Australia and overseas. Today, my approach is particularly informed by relational, dynamic, experiential and somatic psychotherapy.

I see people across a wide range of concerns, and I bring particular depth to trauma — especially complex, developmental, relational and attachment trauma — and to disordered eating, body image and weight-related distress.
